Visa Matters is led by its principal consultant Kanwaljeet Ahluwalia – a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant who is licensed and registered with the ICCRC (Immigration Consultants of Canada Regulatory Council) and is legally authorised to represent students, immigrants, visitors and to give professional immigration advice. 

Being an immigrant himself Kanwaljeet understands the challenges of immigration and settlement in a new country, which became a key motivator in establishing Visa Matters. Kanwaljeet completed the Certificate in Immigration Laws, Policies and Procedures (CILPP) from the University of British Columbia and is a licensed immigration consultant in good standing with ICCRC. 

Having past three decades of work experience at different Government offices, Kanwaljeet brings an administrative perspective on compliance to immigration policies and processes. Kanwaljeet is fluent in English, Hindi and Punjabi languages. A resident of Surrey, Delta for past decade and half, he is an active participant in the Indo Canadian community in Vancouver.
